Hell hath no fury…
Hello again, dear reader.
I bring to you the latest Black Beanie Gaming video – part four of the Fallout 4 Survival / Minutemen play-through, where we’ve pledged allegiance to Preston Garvey and almost forgot that our son is missing. We also run screaming from the weakest enemies in the game.
My aptitude at the game aside, I offer you this video with a request – that you enjoy the hell out of it.
I sat down and recorded the three hours of game-play required to make this fifty-minute video, but wound up embarking on a kind of software-crashing odyssey.
The first full render of this video, available after six hours of editing, was of such poor quality that the foreign objects appearing on screen could hardly be confused as video game footage. Were it not for the lossless quality of the audio, it would be near indecipherable.
Thankfully, I’m a masochist. I scrapped the trash edit, fixed the software issue, and re-edited the entire video over another six-hour period and provide it to you now.
My toils are your entertainment….at least the sort you can play in the background during your morning commute (hopefully.)
After liberating the Corvega plant from Raiders, we’ve since ascended to the rank of General in the Minutemen. Our first task? Travel southward to Oberland Station to help the settlers there. Put the minutemen back on the map. Meanwhile, we need to make headway regarding our missing son, Shaun, by traveling to Diamond City. We meet the peppy reporter, Piper, and the shady Mayor ignoring the rash of recent kidnappings.
Also missing, the one person who could help to find Shaun – detective Nick Valentine.
All the while a distress beacon pings our radio. A Brotherhood of Steel troop is stranded in College Square, pinned down by the same horde of ghouls terrorizing the settlers at Oberland Station.
Time for our character to roll up her sleeves and get to work.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to reassess the choices I’ve made in my life.
Until next time.
