I hope all is well, dear reader. There isn’t much in the way of encouragement nowadays (my American readers should sympathize, considering the massive political division on display), but there are video games.
Yes, Activision Blizzard just fucked up with the reveal of mobile-game Diablo: Immortal; and Bethesda Game Studios is having a bear of a time keeping Fallout 76 stable, and an even harder time addressing backlash to the game’s presentation, glitches, story, game-play, and just about everything else.
BUT, I now have a gaming channel to aid in distracting you all (and myself) from all the ruckus.
Black Beanie Gaming continues the story of Max Caulfield and Chloe Price in part two of the let’s play of DONTNOD’s 2015 episodic hit, Life is Strange.
In this episode we wrap up the first of five episodes, finally meet Chloe Price and average-nice-guy Warren. Kate Marsh is having trouble on campus, Victoria is indeed a terrible person (mostly), and voice actors Hannah Telle (Max) and Ashly Burch (Chloe) show off their palpable chemistry and acting chops. Behind all that is the mysterious disappearance of teenager Rachel Amber and horrific visions of a massive storm, poised to destroy the Oregon town of Arcadia Bay.
Come take a look!
